I love when the geometry of life lines up with the geometry of the canvas. Rectangles inside rectangles inside rectangles. Little toes standing on the edge of the canvas, posts and beams squared to the frame.
The bigger the figures relative to the frame the more monumental they feel. In this study I’m exploring the very big, very everyday story of having friends gathered in the springtime.
